Company Description
Are you ready to significantly impact the lives of individuals who face obstacles to learning? Lee Pesky Learning Center (LPLC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Evaluation Technician to join our team.
LPLC, a leader in education nonprofits, is a comprehensive training, service, and research center with a rich history and a promising future. Located in Boise, Idaho, with a satellite office in the Sun Valley area, LPLC was founded in 1997 by Alan and Wendy Pesky in honor of their son, Lee. Today, LPLC provides evaluation and one-on-one intensive intervention to individuals facing obstacles to learning while also training teachers in the classroom and supporting students in schools and communities. We recognize that obstacles to learning can be multi-faceted, and we understand the power of prevention.
You will be responsible for providing support to LPLC Evaluators (Licensed Psychologists, School Psychologists) who complete comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations with students aged 5 to adult. The evaluations allow the creation of an individual Learning Profile, which serves as the foundation for tailoring intervention to the student’s specific strengths and needs. An in-depth evaluation provides students, parents, and teachers with the knowledge they need to facilitate academic success and personal growth. The ideal applicant will be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and interested in knowing more about the assessment of various learning and attention challenges.
Why Join Us?
- Transformative Work: Be a key player in transforming the educational experience for students who learn differently.
