Lori Frank is an owner and president of Avalon Landscapes, Inc. in Boise, Idaho. She was instrumental in helping create the interest, attention, and awareness that led to the creation of the College of Western Idaho in 2008. She has a master’s degree in clinical psychology/research & statistics at Pepperdine University. While in her bachelor’s program, she managed and conducted research for businesses in Washington and Idaho and helped develop programs for at-risk children at the Spokane Child Abuse, Neglect, and Prevention Center. In 2003, she joined the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation as the Research Analyst. Shortly thereafter, she worked as the Grants and Research Officer, and in 2005 she was promoted to the Executive Director; she continued in that role until August 2008.
