Idaho Comprehensive Literacy, Grades K-12



Lee Pesky Learning Center is a state-approved Idaho Comprehensive Literacy Course provider. The content of this course meets the requirements for ICLC, Idaho Code 33-1207A, for providing practical application of the Literacy Standards and Idaho’s Comprehensive Literacy Plan. It has been updated to include Standards #1, #2, #3 and #4 addressing the following areas of literacy instruction: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, writing instruction and assessment. This online course is completely self-paced and should be completed 90 days from the registration date.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a letter certifying that you have completed the requirements of this course for the Idaho State Department of Education. You can also take this class for credit, but you must first register for Lee Pesky’s class before registering for credit. This class is worth four credits (60 hours) through Boise State University, Northwest Nazarene University, or The College of Western Idaho.
