The purpose of this course is to strengthen your content knowledge of current writing instruction practices, while learning evidence-based instructional strategies that can used with the Journeys reading program, as well as in other content areas. Coaches, teachers, para-professionals and administrators will find these strategies, especially when used consistently school-wide, will strengthen all students’ reading and writing skills. Participants will learn how to scaffold each strategy to meet the needs of diverse writing abilities and teach the writing standards with confidence!

One credit is available through NNU for an additional $60, total time= 15 clock hours
