Empowering middle school students to read with confidence
At Lee Pesky Learning Center, we know that middle school can be a turning point, especially for students who are still developing foundational literacy skills. Our IGNITE! Literacy Pods program provides targeted, small-group reading instruction for 6th–8th grade students (the majority of which are multi-lingual), helping them strengthen decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills while building confidence and motivation.

IGNITE! is grounded in the Science of Reading and uses proven instructional methods to help students make measurable progress in just a few weeks. Led by trained educators, the program combines direct instruction, guided practice, and encouragement to help students unlock their potential as readers and learners.
