When Lee Pesky Learning Center was founded in 1997, Alan and Wendy Pesky made a powerful and lasting decision: they directed the remainder of their son Lee’s estate to establish an endowment that would sustain LPLC’s mission for generations to come.
That first investment laid the foundation for our future.
As of January 31, 2025, the LPLC endowment totals $7,350,065, a vital source of stability, growth, and impact.

Unlike annual donations, endowment gifts are invested permanently. The income generated each year supports LPLC’s work in research, direct services, and educator training, helping us improve outcomes for learners facing obstacles.
The LPLC Endowment Board carefully manages investment and distribution, while the LPLC Board of Directors ensures that all endowment policies support our long-term mission.
