Through Running for Learning, dedicated marathon runners help expand access to life-changing services for students who learn differently.
Every Step Makes a Difference!
Per tradition each fall, Lee Pesky Learning Center partners with New York City Roadrunners (NYRR) as part of their Charity Partner Program. As a charity partner, LPLC is granted the opportunity to recruit runners to join our ‘Running for Learning’ team. Runners raise awareness (and funds) for LPLC and are guaranteed entry to compete in the NYC Marathon in November. This year’s race will take place on November 1st, 2026.
