Are you ready to significantly impact the lives of individuals who face obstacles to learning? If so, Lee Pesky Learning Center (LPLC) is seeking an organized and dedicated Office Manager to join our team.

LPLC, a leader in education nonprofits, is a comprehensive training, service, and research center with a rich history and a promising future. Located in Boise, Idaho with satellite offices in Sun Valley, LPLC was founded in 1997 by Alan and Wendy Pesky in honor of their son, Lee. Today, LPLC provides one-on-one intensive intervention to individuals facing obstacles to learning while also training teachers in the classroom and supporting students in schools and communities. As the organization’s Office Manager, you will be responsible for supervising administrative staff, implementing office policies/procedures, and assisting with facilities & operations. You will play an important role as an integral team member for the impactful work of LPLC.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

LPLC’s Office Manager is the glue that holds our organization together, helping to create a healthy work environment where everyone feels supported.

· Management & Oversite: The Office Manager will supervise, motivate, and mentor administrative staff to ensure the office operates smoothly. This includes co-developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing office schedules, ordering supplies, and communicating with staff on-site and virtually.

· Customer Service & Relationships: The Office Manager and administrative team will be the first point contact for all clients, parents, vendors, and staff. Excellent customer service skills and team management are necessary skills for this position.

· Facilities & Financial Systems: The Office Manager will assist with facilities management such as communicating with property manager, vendors, and management regarding equipment & facility maintenance and employee safety. In addition, this person will be responsible for accounting tasks such as accounts receivable, payment collections, monthly billing, credit card reconciliation and purchase order management.

· Communication, Planning & Organization: The Officer Manager position will organize priorities, projects, and time to create efficiencies. This person will communicate clearly and motivate the team toward high performance.

· Computer & Technology: The Office Manager will possess advanced level computer skills and experience including proficiency with various software and databases such as MS Office, QuickBooks, etc. In addition, the Office Manager will be the first point of contact with our IT Support Vendor for issues and updates.

Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of office management experience

· Associate of Arts degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

· Supervisory experience

· Proficiency with office equipment, technology, and software such as MS Office, QuickBooks, and other relevant programs (Salesforce experience a plus)

· Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices & procedures.

· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

· Excellent people skills and comfortable in a team environment

· Strong problem-solving capabilities.
