John Michael Fery is a founder and former President with over 15 years of experience
building, scaling, and exiting to a private equity-backed consumer services platform. He has
founded and led multi-site businesses from greenfield concept through institutional exit,
partnering closely with investors, lenders, and investment banks.
John Michael has raised more than $28 million in equity capital, overseen rapid multi-unit
expansion, and executed a successful sale to a large PE-backed consolidator. His operational
background includes deep expertise in unit economics, KPI development, real estate
entitlements, culture building, and operational systems that drive margin expansion and
scalability.
Known for his people-first leadership approach, John Michael’s organizations consistently
ranked in the top decile nationally for employee engagement. He brings a founder’s mindset
combined with institutional discipline, making him a valuable board partner during growth,
transition, and exit phases.
John is an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), former member of
Vistage. He currently serves on the YPO Idaho executive committee, and the St. Lukes
Children’s Hospital Foundation.
