Description
This 15-hour course meets the requirements for the Idaho Literacy Achievement and Accountability Act and teacher recertification. This course is worth one credit through Boise State University, Northwest Nazarene University, College of Southern Idaho, and Idaho State University.
Course Learning Outcomes: Participants will deepen their understanding of:
- The Science of Reading
- Dyslexia Research and Statistics
- Factors Impacting Literacy
- Screening and Assessment
- Features of Strong Instruction and A.R.M.S.

September 30th and October 14th, 8am-3:30pm
November 4th and November 18th, 8am-3:30pm
January 20th and February 10th, 8am-3:30pm
