Boise, Idaho — Lee Pesky Learning Center (LPLC) is proud to announce the appointment of
Dr. Timothy Myers, Psy.D., Ph.D., as the Wendy Pesky Endowed Chair of Clinical
Psychology, a distinguished position established to honor co-founder Wendy Pesky.
Created in 2024 as the first endowed chair of its kind within a nonprofit education
organization, the Wendy Pesky Endowed Chair reflects LPLC’s commitment to clinical
excellence, innovation, and research-informed practice. Established in response to the
growing shortage of clinical psychologists, the position helps expand access to high-quality
psychoeducational evaluations and research-based care for individuals navigating learning
differences.

“Dr. Myers embodies the vision, expertise, and compassion that the Wendy Pesky Endowed
Chair represents,” said Lindy Crawford, Executive Director of Lee Pesky Learning Center.
“His dedication to learners and families, combined with his deep expertise in clinical
psychology and research, makes him uniquely qualified to lead this next chapter of our
clinical services. We are thrilled to welcome him into this role and know he will continue
advancing Wendy Pesky’s remarkable legacy.”

A licensed psychologist specializing in psychoeducational, psychological, and
neuropsychological evaluations, Dr. Myers brings extensive clinical, academic, and
research experience to the role. His appointment is especially meaningful because he
completed his practicum, predoctoral internship, and postdoctoral fellowship at LPLC
before serving as one of the organization’s Clinical Psychologists.
Dr. Myers earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from California Southern
University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Cambridge. He also holds
graduate degrees from Harvard University and Cambridge College. His research on learning
differences, executive functioning, mathematical cognition, and neuroscience has resulted
in numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international
conferences.

“It is an honor to serve as the Wendy Pesky Endowed Chair of Clinical Psychology,” said Dr.
Myers. “The Lee Pesky Learning Center has played an important role in my professional
development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting children and
families through high-quality assessment services, research, and collaboration. I look
forward to building upon Wendy Pesky’s extraordinary legacy and helping learners thrive.”
Traditionally reserved for universities and major cultural institutions, endowed chair
appointments are rare within nonprofit education, making this position a distinctive
investment in clinical leadership and the future of learning.
