Boise, Idaho, May 23, 2024—According to a recent news release, Lee Pesky Learning Center (LPLC) is launching a new course that equips educators with evidence-based tools and strategies to create inclusive environments.
The new course includes emotional support, classroom organization and instructional support. Educators who complete the course better understand how to implement the tools necessary to monitor, prevent and redirect challenging behavior.
Educators also learn to implement the tools needed to organize and maximize learning time, promote higher-order thinking skills, and provide high-quality feedback.
According to the First Five Years Fund, high-quality early childhood education (ECE) is proven to dramatically improve a child’s opportunities for a better future, particularly children from low-income families, while offering parents improved job stability and overall economic security.
The course will be available on LPLC’s website HERE, beginning May 24, 2024.
LPLC serves individuals, families, schools and the broader community through a three-tier service delivery model: educator training, literacy pods for English learners and intensive intervention. LPLC provides thousands of hours of individualized academic and clinical intervention to students and trains about 1,000 early childhood educators yearly.
