Have you ever wondered how memory helps you learn? Memory Train describes a foundational piece of learning””memory“”and the science behind how we retain information using the analogy of a train.

Memory Train, written by our clinical director, Anne Clohessy, describes how our memory is involved in the learning process. Using beautiful photography of model train scenes to illustrate how memory functions, the book includes child friendly text, along with more in depth information for adults. The text on the colored panel of each page presents a simplified explanation of how memories are created, and is suited for younger children. The additional text provides more in-depth explanations of how memory works and is suited for parents, teachers, and older students.
